Sunny Skies

Yesterday and today were beautiful. I think I believe that it is June. The weather has been warm- we even had some moments that it was too warm. I am glad; it should not still be 40 in June in Illinois. It was so warm and sunny yesterday that Buck has become a crispy critter from Cub Scout day camp. He came home yesterday so burnt that he didn’t care if we watched HGTV last night. He just wanted to sit in the cool A/C and veg. You can bet today at camp he did not forget to reapply his sunscreen like he was told. I tried to make it easy- I told him to just put on more when you break for lunch before you swim and after you swim. That turned out be roughly every 2 hours. He wouldn’t have to draw special attention to himself at those times or miss out on any of the fun stuff. Finally we can enjoy the sun; well, that is if we wear our sunscreen.
