Back to School

Well as I am sure you have noticed I have not been posting lately. I am back in school again and this semester is kicking my backside. Economics is still hard. Accounting is all new for me and the work load is huge. Statistics is the only thing I understand but I have been slacking in there because it is easier. I took my first exam and I bombed it. I drew the wrong model for one problem, I couldn’t remember how to get the outer and inner fences on a box and whisker plots and I realized I had no idea how to prove dependant or independent probability. I haven’t gotten it back yet but I know I did terribly. I mean actually terrible not my OC terrible.
The kids are busy busy busy this semester- karate is new for Buck and swim team. Fawn is taking violin and soccer of course both kids are in scouts. We are on the go every day of the week for the kids and to top it off this semester one of my classes is in the evening. Because of the rains the soccer season has been extended and extra week to make up for the missed games. When it all started I was saying this will be fine soccer is only 8 weeks. But Fawn’s new coach started practices earlier in the year than her last 3 coaches have so the season will now be 11 or 12 weeks with the league extensions for all the rained out games. I was also saying my night class is only 8 weeks it turns out if I want to take the companion class too- it is also only offered in that same time slot. So I will be taking a night class all semester not just the first half.
So I will probably not be posting too often this semester if at all. I hope all you are having a good semester or whatever as the real world doesn’t revolve around a semester schedule.
Just as a note: post secret is going to be at Illinois Wesleyan in November. I hope to have time to figure out how to go to that. I read post secret every week, it would be cool to hear Frank talk about his project and read some of the post cards.
